About The Miami Effect

Find your people.
Build your Miami.

The Miami Effect Guide connects ambitious adults with the people, communities, and experiences that help them build a more intentional life in Miami.

People make the place.

Our central question is simple: how does Miami change the trajectory of the people who choose to build here? We explore what they’re creating, what brought them here, and the relationships and environments that make a difference.

Founder stories sit at the heart of that work. Through interviews and community profiles, we aim to create a useful map of where people find shared ambition, wellbeing, and belonging.

Meet the curator.

The Miami Effect is created and curated by Timothy Wren. His interest in founders, wellness, and meaningful community shapes the guide’s direction: ask useful questions, understand who a space serves, and help people find a room where they can contribute and belong.

This is an early-stage, growing publication. Research-based discoveries are distinguished from first-hand reporting, and we’re developing interviews and collaborations with founders and community organizations.

Six ways to build your Miami.

Build explores founders and the communities around them. Train brings people together through movement. Reset explores spaces for wellbeing. Grow focuses on skills and personal development. Connect opens doors to meaningful social experiences. Explore discovers curated coastal and lifestyle experiences.

Stories with purpose.

Our founder conversations explore what someone is building, why Miami, what changed for them, and which people and communities helped them along the way. “Find Your Room” is our approach to community discovery: useful context about who a group fits and how to participate.

Our editorial approach.

Inclusion is reviewed for relevance and fit. Applying does not guarantee coverage. Founder interviews are initially selected on editorial merit without a fee for inclusion. Sponsored features and commercial collaborations are labeled, and editorial selection remains independent.

Details can change. Check current access, schedules, and pricing with the organizer before visiting. Organizations mentioned in the guide are not implied partners unless a collaboration is explicitly identified.
